ARTIST STATEMENT
As a multidisciplinary artist I believe in diverse ways of exploring, developing and creating art. We live in times when recycling objects is very important in order to generate a better place to live. In art the concept of recycling is the basis for generating new ideas.
In my life as a visual artist and poet, I have recycled images and words I found within me and in my community, to create a new sense of reality, whether it was through poetry, painting, assemblages, photography or body movement. All artists are inspired or are recycling the artistic ideas of those who precede them, especially those that transcend time, with their originality and by opening new visions.
I like to be inspired by reality but not to represent it just as it is. Because my idea of art is based on the option that we can create doors in the wall of reality in order to see to beyond reality itself.
Art can be the representation of an era of life, and the breath we need to continue developing life. But, I also believe that art is a powerful tool for developing dreams and connecting us with the deepest roots we possess as human beings.
Every day I hope and believe in ideas and how we can transform them into a new reality. I believe we can connect our bodies and minds with the real world so we can generate something completely different, something which can serve as inspiration to other people to continue connecting concepts and images of new worlds created by minds and human hands.

Como artista multidisciplinario creo en diferentes formas de explorar, desarrollar y crear arte. Vivimos en tiempos donde reciclar objetos es muy importante para poder generar un mejor lugar donde vivir. En arte el concepto de reciclar es la base para generar nuevas ideas.
En mi vida como artista visual y poeta, he reciclado imgenes y palabras encontradas alrededor mo y de mi comunidad, para crear un nuevo sentido de realidad, ya sea con poesa, pintura, ensamblaje , fotografa o acciones corporales. Cada artista se inspira o recicla las ideas de arte que le anteceden, especialmente las que trascienden el tiempo con originalidad y abriendo nuevas visiones.
Me gusta sentir inspiracin de la realidad pero no representarla tal cual es, porque mi idea de arte esta basada en la opcin de que podemos crear puertas en el muro de la realidad para ver ms all de ella misma.
El arte puede ser la representacin de una era en la vida, y el aliento que necesitamos para continuar desarrollando vida, pero creo que tambin es una fuerte herramienta para desarrollar sueos y para conectarnos con las ms profundas races que poseemos como seres humanos.
Cada da espero y creo en las ideas, y en como podemos transformarlas en una nueva realidad, creo que podemos conectar nuestro cuerpo y mente con el mundo real para generar algo completamente diferente, algo que pueda servir de inspiracin a otra gente para seguir conectando conceptos e imgenes de nuevos mundos creados por las mentes y manos humanas.
